Getting To Know You: Sibilings
* (Note: If this week’s theme is not applicable to you, feel free to write about people who were like siblings to you – cousins, good friends, etc)
1) How many siblings do you have and what are their names?
2) What is the age range among the children in your family?
3) In what ways are you like your siblings?
4) In what ways are you different from your siblings?
5) What is the craziest sibling story you’ve got?
6) Any treasured memories or routines you shared with your siblings?
7) What are your siblings’ best talents?
8) You and your sibling get to share one perfect meal. What is on the table?
My answers:
1) How many siblings do you have and what are their names?I have four – Brandon, Justine, Hitler, and Derrick – on my dad’s side and I am my moms only child.
2) What is the age range among the children in your family? We range from 20-30
3) In what ways are you like your siblings?
I have never met two of my siblings but the two I have met we all favor my dad. Additionally we all have his determination and persistence as well.
4) In what ways are you different from your siblings?
All of my siblings are more outgoing than me. Also, we look at different views in life differently as well.
5) What is the craziest sibling story you’ve got?
Hmm. That is a tough one. I would have to say when Brandon and I spent the summer in Maryland with our aunt and uncle. He had to get his hair cut into the military cut and he was so pissed off but we all thought it was funny.
6) Any treasured memories or routines you shared with your siblings?
We didn’t live together so not to many treasured memories or routines yet now that we are adults I am sure there are some to come.
7) What are your siblings’ best talents?
My sister is a great mom to both of her kids by giving them the attention that they need and making sure they have everything that they need. Additionally, my brothers are hard workers and they will be achieving their dreams soon.
8) You and your sibling get to share one perfect meal. What is on the table?
This is an easy one. There would definitely be a variety of different sea foods such as shrimp, lobster, and crabs. Also, since we are all from North Carolina some good old country food is a must such as fried chicken and sweet potato pie.
